What is BSK
Betta Sigma Kappa is an association of students interested in developing leadership and profesional skills through Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), and their community service arm, Fire Corps. Collectivelly, the association is designed to augment knowledge gained in the classroom with practical business skills under the guidance of the Business faculty.
BSK History
During the 1990's, U of O's Business students created Beta Sigma Kappa as a way to unite various student organizations in the Business Enterprise program. Student selected the name "Beta Sigma Kappa" becuase it represents "Business Student United." Bringing together a diverse group of business students is the chief aim of student leaders in the Business Enterprise program and is the reason BSK was reestablished this academic year.
Our Mission Statement:
BSK is a student-centered association whose mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Beta Sigma Kappa provides structured time for students to develop their personal, social, leadership, team, and professional skills.
Our Vision:
To be the "model" integrated PBL-SIFE collegiate student association in the United States.
