December 8th & 9th (yes, the weekend before finals :S) Alpha and Omega will get busy helping at the Presbyterian Urban Mission in Oklahoma City.
The task: help the Presbyterian mission crew to deliver thousands of Christmas gifts for families with low resources. We will help by assisting in the nursing room, help the kids pick presents for their parents, help the parents to pick presents for their kids (this one requires Spanish speaking hands!) … an some other stuff that I don't remember. It is an awesome experience to work with such an organized group, where everybody knows exactly what he or she needs to do. Besides the satisfaction of watching the parents' amazed faces when looking at the extraordinary gifts they will be able to give to their kids, this trip is a great opportunity to fellowship with Alpha and Omega members and to experience, once again, Jesus' amazing love for all His children. Everybody is cordially invited to join us, the more hands, the best.
